Questions
- Where do the scholarships come from?
- From universities’ own scholarship pages, collected and checked every day. We leave out awards a student applying from the Middle East cannot use, such as Commonwealth or refugee schemes and awards for students already enrolled.
- Is the percentage my chance of winning?
- No. It shows how close your grades and test scores are to the minimum a scholarship lists. Who wins also depends on your application and on who else applies. A counsellor can tell you where you really stand.
- How are different curricula compared?
- We convert A levels, IB points, American GPA and percentages to one scale using common university equivalences, and ACT scores to SAT with the published concordance. Conversions are approximate, and each university sets its own.
- Does it work for Saudi, Egyptian and other national curricula?
- Yes: choose Percentage and enter your average. For the American curriculum, enter your GPA out of 4.0 and your SAT or ACT if you have one.
